So the research of GPON network management system is of important and practical significance.This paper is based on the discussion of GPON system and network management system. It discusses ONT management and control interface deeply, which is an important part of GPON network management system. Firstly, based on the analysis of OMCI related protocols and the design of models of OLT and ONT, this paper proposes the module block diagram of ONT management and control interface. Then on the base of serial terminal of embedded systems, this paper compiles C program to realize the function of ONT management and control interface. Specific works and results of the paper are as follows:1、This paper uses the GPON network management system program which is based on SNMP, and analyzes two levels of it. At the same time, on the bases of the analysis of OMCI related protocols and the design of models of OLT and ONT, this paper designs a kind of module block diagram which can describe ONT management and control interface.
